We were better than Hudds over 23 rounds and better than Salford over 7, in 2016.

For a team in the middle 8s we're in a pretty good place currently, IMO. But in such a short series of games with little room for error, it doesn't take much to land you in the poop!

I think this year will be the tightest middle eights competition yet and with the top four (all but a Wire/Cas implosion and us actually winning) sewn up, it'll be where the most excitement is for the next couple of months that's for sure!

The last two minutes of the 2015 MPG were just about the most remarkable I've ever seen during my time watching RL. Having said that, watching Bradford score three tries in quick succession towards the end of a SL fixture at Wigan was fairly astonishing as well, and obviously amusing. I think they were losing by 16 points with less than ten minutes left, that Aussie full back who qualified to play for GB, Michael Withers, scored the last try. IIRC someone on betfair offered odds of 500/1 late on on a Bulls win, somebody spotted it and had a few bob on it.
