| Quote PCollinson1990="PCollinson1990"IF he fails any test, I expect the full weight of the rules to come down. It's a matter for the club and authorities, not posts on the HDM website. Plenty of players, from all clubs, go out and get drunk, should they do it, possibly not. I have a good friend who is a doctor who gets drunk on a Sunday, is he "fit for work" on Monday, probably no, but nobody video's him. If it wasn't Albert Kelly this wouldn't even be being discussed.'"
Your mate is a GP who gets drunk on. Sunday and turns up at work unfit the following morning ...... really.

| Firstly, can I put on record that I am not condoning Kelly's actions and action from the club (internal disciplinary therefore private) and a public apology should be made. I would however like to state the few observations I have made:
a) He's clearly drunk, very drunk. Those stating the use of drugs are clearly in wishful thinking mode.
b) The lads were given a couple of days off as we have the luxury of a 9 day turnaround, therefore he's not gone out against the club's rules, although I think the level of drinking and eating habits will be discussed with him once they are back in training!
c) I find it very convenient that this display was filmed as Kelly started on his abuse. What was said previously to get him into this state because personally it looks like a bloke who just wants to eat his nuggets in peace...he's clinging onto them like a toddler
d) I can be a horrible drunk and if wound up, very abusive which is something I'm not proud of and I am more than aware of. As I said at the beginning, I'm not condoning Kelly's actions, but we clearly don't know the fully story here. This stinks of a set up. I sure as hell don't walk around filming everything and I'm pretty sure others don't either. I have no idea what caused Kelly to react the way he did, and call her the names he did, but I'm pretty convinced that there's a lot of this conversation missing and only the juicy bits are what's remaining...convenient eh?

| Quote mean_machine="mean_machine"I saw a number of posts on this exact forum claiming Minns using mental health as an excuse for taking drugs was just a pathetic excuse and a cover up, but now flirt with the idea that this episode could affect kellys. So mother dieing - doesn't affect it, mean words on twitter - can affect it. Come on, you are better then this.'"
I haven't made any comments about Minns, but I haven't seen any Hull fan contacting the HDM etc about it, someone has actually spent time emailing them.
Plus lots of very damaging accusations against Kelly without any proof at all, whilst Minns has already pleaded guilty. Different situations.
The Hull comments about Minns were after his was found guilty, whilst Kelly as yet has committed an crime and it has all been trial by social media.

Spot on. I watched the video briefly and immediately noticed the policeman walking past, this had the potential to damage the guys career (I'm not condoning what he said) trolls are just so petty, would like to see the full video.

Did you send it to them you, sad, sad creature?
Still feeling the pain after your puerile attempt to get Hull players banned from the Widnes game failed dismally?

He or she really is a sad with nothing better to do obviously and no doubt an avid Jeremy Kyle viewer.
I really don't know whats worse the fact that a pro sportsman has got into such a state and said a few things (seemingly provoked judging from the start of the footage) or the sad, bitter and quite honestly pathetic holier than thou brigade that are tagging and message as many people as they can about it.
Jesus I was in Leeds on Saturday and walked into the middle of a brawl out side Queens Court with a load of idiots who'd had one too many and all mouthing off at each other and a gobby lass that was screaming bile. Sadly that's the society we live in and its no different now to to years gone the only real change is the advance in mobile technology and people videoing and posting everything.
If all these posters that are totally outraged by the video then god help them when their tin of corn beef is missing the key when they try to open it. Talk about faux outrage its embarrassing

Only the convenient parts of course
Funny thing is, after working in a food environment, I'm pretty sure foreign objects such as mobile phones are banned from these areas so it begs the question on why an employee chose to stay in an abusive conversation with a customer and record the incident rather than stepping away from the counter and letting her supervisor deal with it, especially as there was a police officer/security guard present. If she was feeling so threatened she felt the need to record it, why not call them over??

Indeed if the person that is videoing it works at McDonalds and was working at the time then they should be given a disciplinary also for using a phone and videoing customers. Not a good advert for McDonalds considering they will be handling food and a mobile phone which is one of the biggest germ carrying items.
Maybe 'The Reason' should be more concerned about the danger and serious health risk to the general public by the video maker and call for them to sacked immediately and sent before the courts before being lead to the stock outside City Hall for a public flogging.
