Mikey has been invited down by Rovers to train with the first team and be mentored by Danny Mcguire. As of last Sunday he hadn't committed to anything and I think that his first choice would be to team up with Hull FC but I don't think they have made a move yet (I could be wrong).

The good ones end up with us anyway in the end, no dramas.

Without mentioning his name, I know that COHA are lining up a deal for arguably the best player in this years scholarship system. He won't come cheap. I wonder who will be financing that and who he will be aligned to. There really needs to be an openness about how it all works.

From what I gather, the joint fund covers tier 1 and 2 players. Any player that is deemed to be tier 3 is payed directly by Hull or Rovers. Whichever gives him the best deal.

The COHA players find out their fate on Monday. Some of the West Riding and Lancashire clubs have started their negotiations already.
