Salford match emphasised the fact that games are won in the forwards.
With Watts gone, Mini & Washy likely to go later this year plus Kelly, imo were gonna need a prop, second row and a new half (to help inject some more guile into this team).
Dropping one of Fash, Masi, Lane or Turgut into our gameday 17 is great but playing a few of these lads all at once against a rugged and experienced pack will see us over-run like we were on Friday. Any new forwards need to be a bit nasty as we're just too nice at the moment! Maybe it's also time to replace Talanoa with some real pace next year as we're too predictable and maybe teams have worked us out (not that difficult)!
Bit early to write us off just yet this year but all teams need to morph and evolve as they go along to offer new and different threats.

I see what you mean about Griffin but for me he just doesnt cut it as a centre or wing.What you are suggesting is a replacement for Talanoa but he is the same with poor defence and is no faster than Talanoa.You can count on one hand the number of decent games he has had since been at the club and his try scoring record is dreadful.Very poor signing but i would still use him off the bench as an impact player until we get some injured players back.'"

We don't play to griffin's strengths. He needs quick ball to give him space to work in but he rarely gets it. He isn't a 2nd rower either

I post on the fly and living over here I am not privy to all the news/views.
I just go back to the "I've been lazy" comment. Alarm bells went off for me as soon as I saw that.
Lazy in training, lazy in studying your opposition centre, lazy in practicing defence etc etc
