never really got the criticism of Hunte. It wasn't his fault that there were only 2 or 3 decent other players in that team of 1998. Some fans were expecting him to win games on his own yet, after Tomlinson got injured in the 4th or 5th game, there was zero service to the edges.
As regards his pay, ask yourself this, if you got offered what Hunte was alleged to have been paid, would you have turned it down?
