Seems to me that Lancaster suffered from believing he was a superstar from that handful of games couple of seasons back. Think that may well have gone to his head and altered his attitude. He got a chance then seems to have stalled and reading between the lines it seems to be down to attitude.
Top marks to the club and coaching staff as it shouldn't matter how good you are or think you are if your attitude is wrong and not in the ethos of the club then the door should rightly be shown.

HIs new deal took ages to be sorted and nobody came for him. How much do you think he was empowered to demand?
