| Enjoyed this season more than any other since 2006/2007, far better than anyone could have imagined. I had us down to finish about 6th and be out of the Top4 running with a few weeks to go, not winning at Wembley and be one game from winning the league leaders shield.
Still work to be done though, i think we need to find a 'PlanB' for when Sneyd isnt firing, and I think recruiting an attacking/skills coach would be a big step in the right direction. But its small tweaks rather than the disruptive full squad overhauls weve had for the last decade.

| Fantastic season , I think most fans would have taken the Cup win over anything else . Lessons will have been learnt and put us in good stead for next season . Hopefully this could be start of us finally mixing it with the other big clubs on a regular basis .

| i wanted a challenge cup win this year, the lads delivered this
many expected a 6th place finish, so obviously in my eyes we have over achieved this season, but obviously delighted, the coaching squad, players, Motu and Adam knew better and Adam did say he would be disappointed if we didn't finish in the 4
we need to kick on into next year, build on this year and learn from where we went wrong in the last few weeks
onwards and upwards HULL FC

| I said with the squad we have a top 4 and a semi in the cup was the minimum acceptable after the previous dross. That's being exceeded this season, I said on the wigan thread we won't get a better chance at the treble than this year and was told that was "very negative". I don't think it is.
Good run on injuries whilst other top clubs didn't, a turnaround in the derby that basically changed the whole tone of the season, some outstanding and very gritty performances bringing a great undefeated run great cc final comeback but ultimately not enough gametime for squad members to take the strain off some of the forwards.
Sort out the lack of a sorted 6 (pryce still would have being better) some pace in the backs which Shaul aside has been lacking and a bit more nous on squad use and we will be there or thereabouts. ..we hope.

You don't know that we'll never get a better chance. Therefore it's a very negative attitude to say so. But then that's your general outlook and you are entitled to it.
