If the point you're trying to make is that Wigan have a deeper squad than most then I don't think you'll get much argument. That's one of the benefits of being at or near the top for so long. Wigan's recruitment and retention policy has also been top notch - Pearson and Radford have both mentioned it as a model they will be trying to emulate. We, on the other hand, are just coming out of a long period of mediocrity inspired by terrible recruitment and retention. You don't fix that overnight or even over a few seasons. So our squad, while being deeper than we've had for many a year, isn't as deep as yours.

Wigan are clear favourites for Friday night for this and a number of other reasons. Our players have played above and beyond the level expected of them this season and have finally run out of gas. It will take a fairly miraculous reversal of form for us to win.

Hate to say it but Wigan will have too much for us to handle even without Tomkins,lockers etc,the desire is there but I just feel we don't have much left in the tank to challenge Wigan for the full 80 mins,it would need a total reversal of recent form and I think it's too much

2nd in the league , 2 semi finals (at the very least) with the injury's Wigan have had to deal with this year the have done remarkably well . no other team would have done what they have done this with the same injury's . don't get me wrong they are boring as feck to watch watch but hats off to them tbf they've done it hard
