Swings and roundabouts, both teams are fit, big guys tire quicker in heat.
I personally don't think it will favour one team over another.
Our style needs good weather, as we have shown time and time again rain doesn't suit us. |

I don't think that big guys tire quicker in the heat at all. Fitter players last better no matter what the conditions and our fitness is excellent. There seems to be this misconception that we have a team of lumbering giants but I've yet to see us run out of steam in a game this year and we've won plenty in the final 10 minutes.
I'm not at all confident we'll win but I don't think fatigue will be the deciding factor if we lose |

Hewer has been a ref since 2004, however his full time job is/was an engineer team leader at Sellafield nuclear power station. So despite taking senior games as early as 2007 incl our defeat of Sheffield in the cup and 10 games in 2009 and 2010 he dropped off the radar between 2011-2015 in which he only reffed 9 games total with one SL match. He's done almost 20 games this season though.
Apparently he's only 34!

Here in the sunny sarf it'll be raining Thursday, bright and sunny Friday, cloudy and hot 25C with a nice breeze on Saturday, no rain forecast for here on match day. Hull might be a different matter.

In the first 20 minutes? When we'd played a high intensity CC game the week before and they'd had a weekend off? The ganme where we scored 3 tries to 2 in the 2nd half? Nothing to do with fitness and everything to do with mental preparation. You looked utter shat against saints the day before but I expect you had an excuse for that the same as we did |
