Smith better than Sneyd?........Smith is average personified.Catalans pack is just as big as ours and they have thw best stand off in the comp and they nullified both.

I rate them about the same (although Sneyd has more potential) however Williams, Tompkins and O Loughlin are better than our equivalent as pivots and create things for Wigan.

I also think they have more class and pace in the backs than us, we need to beat them in the forwards.

Take O loughlin out and they lose a hell of a lot,on form so far...Shaul is better than Tompkins but he has the big game experience

And Farrell, Clubb, McIlorum, Gelling and Crosby.

Realistically only Saints could catch us for the top 4 at the end of the year.

If we can win the next two, we should go into the 8's with a 8 point lead, then we could rest players for the Salford game.

It would then take a massive disaster in the 8's to lose an 8 point lead.

That would mean only 80 mins away from two finals which would be an amazing achievement.

Hope Widnes make the 8 - they've achieved a lot with their squad. Said already that Cas look in trouble, which is disappointing given they're the best team in the comp to watch in attack on their day IMO. Salford hearing on Wednesday/Thursday is massive, and late timing is unfair on those chasing a place in the 8.
