Id still fancy our chances with a all English team as you still wouldn't be able to handle our pack. You may have the edge in wingers but our half backs are easily on par with yours and on current form,Sneyd id far better than Smith.'"
McIlorum is definitely from Leeds. Neither of the Tomkins' are originally from Wigan. Suspect half the others aren't either. Wigan have a great youth set up and fair play to them for that, but to your point I'd give us more than a fighting chance with a team of Shaul, Landaster, Logan, Yeaman, Naughton, Pryce, Sneyd, Taylor, Houghton, Watts, Ellis, Hadley, Thompson, Bowden, Green, Washbrook and Turgut (10 of whom are Hull born by my reckoning) against any team Wigan can put out.
We'll not find out, though, because of the rules allowing us to play our excellent overseas contingent, something Wigan have used as a key component of their success over the last 30-odd years.
