Not been this high mid season since 2006 when we moved up to third midway through the long unbeaten run. We hung around in third for weeks before eventually moving above Leeds by beating them 23-16 at the KC in early August.

I can't see hudds or leeds winning 2 more games than rovers in the remaining 9 and widnes don't look likely to win again. I can see 16 points being enough to get in the top 8 this year which is pretty shocking really

Widnes without Brown are a shadow of the side they were pre-easter. Apart from us, they are the worst side I've seen this year. Its funny how they handed out a shed load of contract extensions when they were 6 from 7. Now, 7 straight defeats later you wonder what happened to their desire.

I would guess Salford will be the benefactors of their demise, we don't have it in us to kick on. 3 straight defeats coming up for us.

I agree with you about Hudds, Jake, but I think Leeds are stuck in reverse along with Widnes and are finding it tough to stop their downwards spiral. We laboured to a win over a poor Widnes side today and we have 3 more wins in us only this season and as things stand none of those will be against Hull. We will finish 9th or 10th. Salford also have the team to turn things round over the last 9 games.

Unless they finally learn how to play to their potential, I wouldn't want to be picking Watkins, Hardaker, Hall, Briscoe, Ferres, Cuthbertson and Ablett in the England squad for the 4 nations on the form any of them are in at the moment or have shown so far this season. By contrast, the form of some of your boys warrants serious consideration.
