Quote: Mild mannered Janitor "The game is played for 80 minutes. It's extremely rare to fluke a win in RL. We defended fairly well for the entire game. Our attack was flat for the first 60 mins. Was the the coaches instruction? I very much doubt it, given the quotes for the coach and senior players in recent weeks. When we did run the ball on the last, Mini flipped the ball into Sio's hands and we conceded.
I think there are few on here who only watch highlights of game on TV. The idea a team can throw the ball around like a pass the parcel game on every set is deluded. Every team will have sets of one out stuff. It's part of the game. It's what you do with it close to the line which is more of a concern. Ironically, having our big lads charging on to the ball from a yard or two out might actually be a better thing to do.
But then again there are a fair few on here who seek to criticise when we win a game from 20 nil down with 20 mins left in the back yard of our arch rivals.
Did we deserve to win? We scored more tries and (more importantly) more points than the opposition. One things for sure, Rovers didn't deserve it win and that's purely down tho their final 20 minutes.
A team with a decent set of fans (sweeping statement, but you get my drift) would be talking about "finding a way to win" yet some on here maintain the anti radford agenda. I honestly do know why some bother .'"
Yes we won, but why don't we expect more. Why do we except mediocrity more than most other clubs. We beat Hull KR for goodness sake, yes we came back but it was not and is not good enough.
Lets deal with facts, as Benitez would say;
In the previous 2 seasons - against Wire we have won 1 out of 5 games; Leeds we have won 1 out of 6 games; Wigan we have won 0 out of 4 games, conceding on average 40 points per game against Wigan.
These will be the same fans that will still have the blind faith going into Warrington on Monday.
