They certainly wouldn't have been smiling if they had to run out in front of the old 3d stand at the boulevard, they'd be brought to book with barrage of home truths and have it too damn easy these days. Not enough pride in the shirt i'm afraid. They have little or no respect for the club, the owner who pays their wages, or us the fans. You don't need a team of superstars to have a half decent defence. It's based on teamwork and effort which seems to be sadly lacking.
Irrespective of the changes needed on the coaching side, the players need to know they are not shoe-ins for a place in team as well and cannot keep getting second chances time and time again. Even if the team may be slightly weaker on paper, I'd bring in the likes of Naughton; Lancaster, Green, Feka, Hadley etc for the Wakey game to send out a message. Apart from Shaul you could make an argument to drop any of back line and young Logan needs taking out for his own good before his confidence is damaged beyond repair.

If I was a hull fan Liam watts would me off. Not 100% sure why, seems void of a brain perhaps..

To be honest I didnt see it, switched off with 25 minutes to go. Too angry for words at the time. Too many individuals and not a team. So glad I didnt waste my time and go on the "free" coach, was so tempted as well.

i never go to away games,because i live to far away and the and the traveling is difficult (although i do go to all the home games) i always listen to the away games on my laptop.and last night i had to log off after 60 mins.i truly felt sorry for all the fans who traveled to widnes and sang their hearts out ,to have to watch that disgrace of a performance.i only hope that things get better as the season goes,otherwise mr.pearson will be losing a long distance traveling season pass holder.

What do you expect when you sign players that are only here for a holiday?

I have no issue with them talking to mates after the game, happens at the end of every game, here and in the NRL regardless of result. It is a 30second chat if that

I Still really don;t know what to say about last night... was it the same side that played so well in the first two games?
TBF Widnes with Brown looked good and they knew exactly how to unpick or fragile-lending-on-non-existent defence.

Talanoa was so out of position he might as well have played centre...

I just don't get it ... something seems very very wrong.

Talanoa was injured scoring his disallowed try, and ended up in hospital overnight, might explain his poor 2nd quarter.

Doesn't excuse him running into the man on their first try and been totally out of position for their 3rd.
