Quote: threepennystander "Great atmosphere today. Hoped for along time the lads from east/north corner would move to south/East. Never got why they stayed at the north end so long were you couldn't ever hear them. Thanks to them the ground was united and the look on the New Zealand boys faces was of pure amazement at times. Sometimes fans wait for the team to pump them up and other times its the other way round. After yesterday I get the feeling it's going to be easy to pump this team up and we won't have to wait for something to excite us. Just seeing frank the tank in the famous black n white does that'"
As I am one of those lads (ironic considering my name), the north east corner was just where we liked to be sat, close to the away fans to give banter etc. We was fairly annoyed that we had been let down by the SMC at the beginning but as we got going in the south east, it really picked up and created a great atmosphere. It was great to see fans from South stand and the other side of East joining in and I think it was a great starting point for the season ahead.
