| HULL FC SQUAD NAMED FOR HERITAGE GAME
Lee Radford has named his 19-man squad for this weekend’s Heritage game against Catalans Dragons.
The Black and Whites take on French outfit Catalans on Sunday, kick-off 3pm, in the final game of the 2015 Super League season.
The fixture is also the centrepiece of the club’s Heritage Week, with a host of match day activities, including the biggest ever West Park funfair, and a memorial service prior to the game.
Head coach Radford has named a strengthened squad to face the Dragons, with Richard Whiting and Tom Lineham returning whilst Jordan Thompson could make his comeback from injury.
First-team players Joe Westerman, Fetuli Talanoa, Chris Green, Setaimata Sa and captain Gareth Ellis are all missing through injury.
Young stars Jack Logan, Jordan Abdull and Brad Fash all retain their place in Radford’s squad whilst Masimba Matongo and Jack Downs drop out.
Lineham, Jordan Rankin, and Mickey Paea will all make their final Hull FC appearances on Sunday.
HULL FC: Abdull, Bowden, Fash, Hadley, Houghton, Lineham, Logan, Minichiello, Naughton, Paea, Palea’aesina, Pryce, Rankin, Sneyd, Thompson, Turgut, Watts, Whiting, Yeaman.

| Why did we play Whiting and Thompson? Both were clearly and understandably not match fit , same as Pryce last week , and they effectively replaced youngsters who'd been doing ok. With the signings made these two will only feature as back up next year and there are no more games this season so what is the point? Surely we should have played the youngsters especially as the u 19's season is finished. Even if they turn in poor performances at least you're learning for the future , what will we learn from playing Whiting? Losing with kids in the side is more defensible as well. We needed to start with energy today , Cats drop off after about 20 minutes generally when playing away unless they're allowed to play. The selection is baffling.
And why with a couple of minutes to play did Houghton kick backwards to touch and waste vital seconds when we got a penalty? He's our captain FFS , he wasted as much time as Henderson did in those final minutes. Just dumb , dumber and even more dumb squared.

| Dominated the stats again and lost, how many times have we said that, for once though we scored enough trys but were let down by poor errors, early soft goal line defence and goal kicks.
Strangely it looks like they didn't even use two of their subs.
