Thanks for this weeks diary Wilf, Is this the same Stuart Sheard who wrote the Rugby League book "Making up the numbers" an excellent book about amateur clubs exploits in the Challenge Cup which, oddly, makes no mention whatsoever of Cawoods ?

Yep that's him he's based in York and does a lot of work for the RL I think , written two books about Leeds Rugby Union Clubs and one as you say about the challenge Cup. Good bloke though and gets the issues and the fans point of view too. I'll pass your comment about Cawoods on
