Quote: Jake the Peg "I thought support play was better against leeds but mainly due to shaul who has always done it. Interesting that all 4 of the youngsters playing that night looked to "promote" the ball much more than the regular first team do. Different mentality or just lack of experience meaning less fear of it not coming off?'"
Richard Horne's influence possibly. His linkage with Shaun Briscoe was great. Agree about Shaul but it's a vicious circle. Our attempts to play more expansive rugby have been fraught with errors costing us points. It's not in our mindset so tends to look clunky. If we're going to by to work on one thing in the off season it has to be this. Pointless having a big pack if we're just getting them to cart the ball up and do a bomb on the 5th.
