1865 appears to have knowledge of the circumstances, I don't. All I'm saying is (as I understand it) that he (Briscoe) thought he was getting a deal in the NRL, he didn't, and through whatever circumstance, he signed for Leeds, because our deal was no longer available to him. His only other option, in order to keep his word would have been to pack up and retire.
I agree with others that opposition players are fair game for jeering, and general taunting. What I object to, is the downright hatred, and abuse, that was thrown his way on Friday night. He does not deserve that.
