I'm sure either Pearson or Radford said we are looking to sign another Back Rower which has well being documented, and another Centre. Assuming Yeaman will play back row next season, providing he gets another contract, that would leave only Logan as an out and out Centre. He's shown promise but it's perhaps a bit early to be considered first choice. Fonua, Talanoa Michaels have played mostly on the wing and Tuimavave is a half back.

This is wild speculation not a rumour! but Chester was on RH last week and was asked what is the position regarding Welham's new contract. Chester sounded really frustrated saying the new contract was put on the table 9 weeks ago but there hasn't been any discussions with either Welham of his agent.

After being poor for 2 seasons he seems to have regained his form hence the new contract offer. Reading the Rovers forum most seem to think he deserves it. This is not likely to go down well but should we be interested? a lot stranger things have happened !!

Welham is average and is on a massive wage due to the interest from Leeds.

I reckon he will stay at Rovers, can't see many other SL clubs interested in him.

Welham is plausible. Radford said recently he'd spoken to a few players at formerly SL clubs in the Middle 8 who were concerned about relegation and exploring other options.

Welham is over rated IMO

Fonua played an entire NRL season in the centres, so I think it's harsh to say he's played mostly on the wing. Storm fans also think he's better as a centre than as a winger.

Funny that I've just posted on our board about Welham signing for you got told off a ex Hull player he's had a good season but his previous two seasons he'd been rubbish
