To make matters worse Rovers found themselves up against the strongest Salford line up for months and you found yourselves up against a Wakefield team rejuvenated by Brian Smith and some new signings.
Hull started very strong tonight and looked several classes above Wakefield but after that Hull's intensity dropped off considerably and from then on Hull looked laboured.
I wouldn't be surprised if we both struggle again at the weekend. This idea of making teams play in the challenge cup a round early and reschedule a SL game midweek has to be looked at again.'"
The scheduling is easy to sort out. When the World Club challenge games are played those teams in the early round of the CC cup play their games. Then when the early cc games are played those in the WCC can play their outstanding fixture. Not really rocket science. |

I dont reckon Catalan are getting another point and it's probable that we wont either. Therefore 7th place finish and the big difference with that is we dont go to Catalan, they come to us. |
