Quote: Mrs Barista "I do think this has been a good yardstick for us.
Big game. Leeds declared by many to be past their best. Home advantage, and material injury advantage. Good crowd, buoyed up.
The reality is that we played with more visible energy and intensity than them, some cracking efforts in defence. But in every other area they did a comprehensive job on us. Played the conditions better, more structure in attack, threats across the back line, control of the ball. Sure we had chances, but Leeds weren't pressured at any point in the game. They still have the likes of Cuthbertson, Briscoe, McGuire to return. Really sobering game.'"
Did we though? In some areas yes, but whilst there was clearly a skinny 10 the speed and numbers with which they swarmed towards us in defence completely outstripped our efforts IMO.
