it was something to do with the red button. Sometimes you can't do series link if there is a red button choice. I double checked - it was set to record the first and third matches, but not Hull's so had to set it again as a one-off.

Got back last night, looking forward to watching the match, to find that it had recorded every match but the FC one! How can Sky do this to us?
