Blow for Hull FC. Marc Sneyd out for at least 4 week with ankle injury, Chris Green 6 weeks with MCL.

Not good news at all but I think Rankin and Pryce can do a good job. I have a feeling that if at all possible we may try and play Ellis for this one. Can you inject a rib injury for pain relief?

I might even be tempted to start Thompson as starting 13.

I fully expect Ellis to play. I wouldn't do it, but Radford is desperate and will jab him up and get him out there.

That is just a risk too far for me, if Ellis isn't fit to play without an injection then he shouldn't play, nobodies long term health is worth the risk.

Has to be Shaul back and Rankin back at halfs, could give us extra attacking flair and pace.

Really hope Cunningham is fit as need his energy off the bench to rest Houghton.

I honestly don't know what it is we're missing, we have the talent, the skill and the desire, we just seem to lack that final something, we need some mongrel in us, we are lacking someone to rough teams up, we are almost too nice.

To be honest looking at your line up it's decent. Back row on paper is up there with best in league when on form. Best half backs for years. Pace in the backs, shaul, lineham, michaels, rankin. Enough to worry me for the derby. Not a fore gone conclusion by any means.
