For me, the only thing Pearson is guilty of is relying on poor advice. His intentions have been to turn us in to credible challengers, but through a combination of poor recruitment and coaching it has not happened. Cas last year showed what coaching can achieve. Rovers this year show what recruitment can achieve, 2 good halves when we have failed for years to find 1. I think we've got a handful of players to take us forward, but no more than that. I am not craving for Radfords head, but think that we've fallen to an extent that a rebuild throughout the club is needed, and an appointment of a coach with proven ability to assemble a competitive side is needed. I can only think of Tony Smith amongst the current SL coaches with that pedigree. I accept that Warrington may not have won all that they should, but they've been competitive. The difficulty is attracting him, or any other suitable alternative.

he has done good with the academy investment, would be a disaster to lose what he has brought in

but he really needs to invest in the coaching set up and advisors

first team coach needs to be replaced, let him bring in his own assistant coach and also an attacking coach is a must!

This is the point people fail to grasp, I'm unsure why when the facts are:
1) The club was up for sale for years with no buyer, and that was with recent major final history and gates touching an average of 14k at one point.
2) Most clubs at the cap lose half a million a year. So you need a benefactor willing to put that much in in the long term. Cash down to buy the club and £5m over 10 years means you have to be a pretty serious supporter. Realistically who are the people fitting this bill and forming a queue?

I don't want him to go, I just want him to get some better advice and appoint a quality manager and coach.

That's my view too. He doesn't help himself with some of the comments he comes out with though.
