In a break from tradition i would like to argue for the inclusion of tommy finn. signed in 1954 finn played 375 times for hull scoring 132 tries and won 2 championships, also appearing in 4 major finals. was a key member of the late 50s to early 60s team. i was very close to putting him straight in but felt the overall vibe of the thread was the 5 players above. question is who to leave out?

Tough one but Chris Davidson deserves another look, more games for Hull than Dean & Harkin added together and good enough to play for Yorkshire, which is about the level they were at (I liked both Dean & Harkin BTW). Do you go for the better quality of Sterling or Entat despite their short Hull careers or the longer service of the good but not great? Caswell I obviously know nothing much about but 3 Wales appearances suggest a Dean, Harkin, Davidson standard of player.
