Obviously you don't pick a coach just because they know/get on with the players, but knowing the the current coach, the captain and one of the halfbacks and what makes them tick is surely an ideal scenario to make an instant impact |

He strikes me a a coach who players listen to and respect (with the possible exception of Sean Long  ).
Not sure the same can be said of our current coach or the previous two. |
