Quote: knockersbumpMKII "Firstly read again what I said.."miller probably wasn't going to be good enough".'"
As was proved.
Quote: knockersbumpMKII "There are plenty of fans that was saying he was hung out to dry last season or are you forgetting? One good game (or two if you count Wakey's comeback win against Cas as well) doesn't change what happened last season'"
Not half as many that were saying he was gash.
Quote: knockersbumpMKII "Iff you think that an inexperienced half playing alongside Horne (or whomever he was playing with) in a team that performed so badly was going to show you his 'skills' when the coach didn't even include him in the first 7 games then you're crazy.'"
I expect him to be able to kick a ball accurately or know when or where to kick to. Not sure what him not playing for the first 7 games has to do with it though?!?
Quote: knockersbumpMKII "That said Miller was thrown into the 8th game of the season and we won handsomely. In fact as I pointed out our win ratio with miller in the side was higher than with him out..go figure(And would have being even greater had it not been for a few pointless rubbers at the back end of the season)'"
Yes, a run that included London twice, Rovers, Widnes & Salford.
Quote: knockersbumpMKII "After a few games Miller was dropped again for not much of a reason AFAICT, then brought back for a few more games then that was it.'"
For not being good enough, maybe?
Quote: knockersbumpMKII "Do you honestly think he was treated well, given a fair chance given how poor we were? Do you not think that the whole team played poorly (aside from a couple of notables) & that was partly down to the coach.'"
He played 24 games in a season and half, more than enough of a chance in my eyes. Go back to the beginning of last year, there was nobody more vocal about Miller getting a chance than me.
Plus others seemed to do fine given the rest of the team played 'poorly' as you say.
Quote: knockersbumpMKII "Yes Miller WAS hung out to dry..'"
He really wasn't.
