5 seconds? Crikey,it's going to be fun getting my 80 year old mum and 83 year old auntie through in that time

To be honest while unmanned turnstiles will be a pain to get used to, other grounds have had them for years and I can see why the SMC want to cut the cost of having the turnstile operators. Not clear how they are going to deal with away fans though?

Interesting to see the club are introducing a discount for buying tickets in advance, I've always wondered if that would increase crowds a bit. As people who have bought tickets in advance will still attend regardless of bad weather, a weakened team being picked due to injuries, getting another offer to go somewhere else at last minute etc

No one likes change but this scanning entry/exit is happening in many places now and will be the norm in the not too distant future.Even some airlines are now moving to scan your own hold luggage from the boarding card at the expense of check in staff.
Would have thought more than 3 days notice would have been more appropriate in this case.

I hope there are staff available to help while people get used to the system. I'm taking my 7 year old grandson and I doubt he will be strong enough to push the turnstyle round on his own.

Is it just me or is this another incremental step towards trying to get us out? This is completely out of our Clubs hands and another antagonistic initiative from the SMC. Rugby League is a more traditional sport than Football and all clubs rely on a walk up audience it's part of the culture, to me its a bloody disaster what will they try next to put us off attending the beer prices going up.......again?
