Quote: frepneyboy "Its not a case of the game being "all ticket" due to demand.
Allam has sacked all turnstyle staff, as he doesnt want anyone on the gates. Ticket only entry only, bought well before game day.
He wanted gate staff to basically be an untrained steward, stopping people once through the gate to check non adult tickets. So they have gone.
The SMC "MAY" put some cash tickets onthe gates, but rest assured will be a one off (maybe a two off)
Sunday will see less than 9k there. £18 is far to much to watch us play a pointless friendly'"
We have representative from the SMC who comes to the Disabled Meetings and he mentioned in October another Allam great idea that is being used at City
You will have to go through the turnstile nearest your seat, so for instance you will not be able to go in South East corner of East Stand and walk the full length of the concourse to get to North East Corner, you will have to enter the turnstiles in the North East corner. He explained this was to keep queues down and eventually phase out turnstile staff. It poses some problems with people like me with restricted mobility. I go up in the lift but if theres a queue its easier for me to keep moving and manage the stairs. I won't be able to do this if this rule will be applied as my pass won't work in the turnstiles.
Just want to make clear that this has not been set in stone for our matches, but this is the system they are working at City and usually what Stadium workings happen at City, happen with us too.
