He will most probs play at Donny a bit this season so letting there supporters have a look at him. And it's not so much we don't want him it's that the clan can't afford his inflated wages on the cap!

Is he seeing out his contract to get the money or is he being told he's going to be in contention to play? You'd hope it wasn't the former but can't blame him to be honest, short career and all that.

He is still being paid by the club but he has not been registered so will therefore not count on our salary cap this year. We are looking to offload him to anyone who wants him but his inflated salary is clearly preventing this.

I have no idea how the salary cap works regards registration/contracted players with all the intricacies so assume although he allowed to play in friendlies he couldn't play in S.L./ CC matches, even in an injury crisis, unless the club registers/re-registers him again then, which I presume is just a telephone call to the RFL ?

He can play in friendlies without counting on the cap. If he plays a competitive match he counts on the cap. I doubt that will happen as the club seem to be suggesting we have very little room left on the cap, certainly not enough for his salary.
