On the Briscoe front I wouldn't say it was abuse, more just banter. I agree that we have gone far too soft and need to make the KC a bad place to come for opposition players, plus it might make them think twice about leaving.

when I think about some of the chants that I joined in with, I am a shade embarrassed. I was never actually racist, but I must admit to joining in, different times, how happy that we've moved on.

As long as it remains at banter level then its ok for me and if people wish to boo a returning player then its upto them IMO. They is some I do and some I dont, Cooke was one I did but Briscoe was one I never.

I dont think clapping them and singing there name in appreciation is something we should be doing.

Eddie Rombo springs to mind - he used to laugh when we used to chant "Who Sh!t on yer head". Can't ever image singing that now to anyone

Not sure where this "Hull left the pitch quickly" after the lap of honour comes from either. They were out for ages at yes end, posing for photos and speaking to fans in the West Stand. Did Leeds stay out for an hour and we have to be judged against that?
