Carvell played 7 games for us, he had a few good games. On the merchandise point, I think the club have been gearing up to have a year of traditional kits next year for the 150th anniversary, hence why the kits over the last 2 years haven't been our traditional look, and the off field stuff has had a lot of gold and blue. They have to keep rotating the styles to keep the sales up.

I hope you are right (and I suspect you are), I'd imagine the 150 year kits have been designed for quite some time.

Kits for the following season are usually agreed and signed off very early in the year. Probably as early as March/April.

I think Lee Jenkinson was still responsible for the kit next year before he left - from what I was told it will be a throwback to our classic shirts
