| For me Richard Horne is too young yet to be a 'legend' but he is definitely our stand out player in the Superleague era so far. 300+ appearances and 100+ tries guarantee that at the very least.
From 1999 to 2007 when he played in his natural role he was second only to Danny McGuire as a running try scoring half back. Thereafter injuries and the fact that he was often expected to kick and move us around the field curtailed his effectiveness. Basically his career was split pre and post Paul Cooke.
Thank you Richard and best wishes for the future.

Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the (Dark) Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."[/size:1gwenaug]:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_35230.jpg |

| I've never been Richard Horne's biggest fan and often though he was over rated or miss used but nobody can deny the man's commitment and dedication as a Hull FC player. A true clubman in every sense of the word. I hope he has as good a coaching career as he has had as a player. It will definitely be strange not seeing him take the field next season.
