| The decision to buy a season pass or not is a personal one and nobody has the right to criticise somebody for making a personal choice. I'm fortunate enough to have the disposable income to buy a pass and the personal circumstances to allow me the time to attend games. However, watching the Rugby is one of many leisure activities for me and in recent years the appeal has diminished to the point that the main reason I go is for the social element of me and the wife meeting up with the father-in-law and a few friends. The number of away games we attend has already dropped off but I suspect we will always continue to renew our passes. It's all very well saying true fans (whatever that means) will always buy a pass but for a lot of people the rugby is not an obsession but a leisure activity and they will drift away if the product is poor. I'm sure AP is well aware we have a hardcore of support and to a certain extent he can just forget about those (whilst fully appreciating them) and concentrate on the floating support. That floating support see the rugby as a leisure activity and not a passion so telling them are not a true supporter if they dont renew is meaningless. Get the product right on the pitch and they will allocate some of that precious leisure time to the rugby. Get it wrong and they will look for other things to do. It's already happening.
Having said all that I'll be renewing this week.

| Well my form is sent away for my new season ticket. Already looking forward to the new season, 150 years to make it that little bit more special. Also, my eldest lad(8 years old) came to a few games with me this season, only seen his side win once in 3 times of going and he wants a season ticket for next season...so Offy and Mini Offy will be there singing in the east stand again.

Here we go again, back a couple of days and causing grief.
Nobody is celebrating mediocrity. We've been largely awful for seven years and it es us off but if wasn't for people continuing to part with their hard earned cash supporting the club through the turnstiles there'd be no club left.'"
See even as a Rovers fan I agree we don't support mediocracy. We support the team, always have always will. I can give you a thousand reasons Standee why we question our sanity every time our teams are fecking woeful and we say never again. But we do and always will. Its a passion that just wont die. Its a bitch.

and my opinion is it's a barrier to success, but as I say, an opinion. Nothing more.

So if nobody pays to watch and the ground is empty the team will be more successful. That's what your saying?

any business needs to learn what the customers want, not sound bites and rhetoric in the press.
We shall see what 2015 brings.

Remind me what they have won in terms of real silverware? hubcap doesn't count. They also have an owner who will pump in millions. Empty our ground to 2/3000 and see how long we last.

It was an attempt at humour pal. Clearly I need to keep my day job.
