Just in case you are not aware, as I work in the construction industries I get this news, so thought I would share. I'm sometimes concious that good news doesn't spread very well in this city.
The A63 in Hull is going to have major redevelopment work done on it to improve times. As Balfour Beatty describe;
Quote The 1.5 kilometre scheme in the centre of Hull will improve journey times for road users through conversion of a major interchange into a split level junction with a two-lane dual carriageway carrying east-west traffic below north-south traffic in a new 400 metre underpass.
The scheme will also include two new bridges which will link the south and north of the city for pedestrians, cyclists and disabled users.'"

And also the electrification of the line between Hull and Selby seems very likely now [url=http://www.hulltrains.co.uk/about-us/news/2014/03/first-hull-trains-welcomes-%C2%A324m-government-pledge-to-electrify-train-lines-from-hull-to-selby/Full story[/url
All in all, good news for the city and much needed investment, and potentially new jobs to boot.
