Noble, Hay, Cooke etc are all decent short term options to steady the ship, but we've got to do it properly this time.
I would quite like to see Radford leave now, and Cooke brought in till the end of the season with him reverting to assistant when we bring a proven coach in for next year.

Radders has got to start picking his strongest team & the team selected have got to play with pride & passion, not just for us or the club but for themselves, we have a decent enough squad to compete with other teams.

What is that, though? Even with a fully fit squad, on the way they've all played this season, who would be our best 17? Does anyone know?
There has been so much chopping and changing it's too difficult to work out who has been suffering from lack of consistency of selection and who has been just plain bad. Add to that that some of those shipped out or who are in the 'not considered for selection' wilderness were actually no worse (arguably not even as bad in some cases) as some of those playing regularly, and it gets even harder. |

He's inherited a decent squad & brought in another few along the way from what was available, I didn't get to the last 2 away games through work & going away, but I know he picked a few u19s to play against Wigan, I wouldn't have done this as knowing Wigan have a killer instinct & will go for the jugular! |

Unless of course they have already conceeded that the season is over and they will blood the under19's to give them experience. |

Then the other side of the fence people saying he is not good enough, not experienced enough, Gentle should have been given time etc.
For me though regardless of the arguments for and against Radford what can not be ignored is the plain hard fact that the squad at the disposal of the current Head Coach of Hull FC is not the 3rd worst squad in the league. Sadly for us fans of this once great club we are now in a worse state than we have ever been.
Under the Walsh/Lloyd era things were bad but the players at least put effort in and were not helped by the off field issues. Under Hetherington/Agar improvement off the field though still not great and hit and miss on the field. Pearson/Radford off the field we have never seen it so good commercially and financially but on the field is a complete mess and worst in my 36years supporting the club for the above reasons. the first two there were excuses due to the way the club was run but that is nopt the case since Pearson came in.
Had London not had relegation written all over them before the season kicked off and Bradford deducted points then as a club we would really have been up turd creek without a paddle qand be enjoying the delights of the likes of Batley, Dewsbury and even our dual reg club Doncaster on a sunday afternoon.
This is what makes our current 12th place even more disturbing as in all honesty with the allowance for London and Bradford we are f*#king bottom!!!!!
If Radford or Pearson thinks this is an exceptable return then god help us. Gentle for whatever his wrongs got us 2 x 6th placed finishes and a CC Final in 2 years whilst trying to right the wrongs of the last administration & Coaching.
In less than a year we have gone from a 6th placed team to a 12th placed team how is that progress??'"
