I know years ago the brooklands site was earmarked for a possible training ground. I used to work on Chamberlain Road and thought it would be great to go and watch them train in my lunch hour! |

Already refused. Seems they want to retain it for industrial use. Does a sporting club and stadium count as industry?
Plus, wasn't there all that hoo-ha about pollution on the site? Not great for residential development. You wouldn't buy a house on the old Capper Pass site would you? Although I wonder slightly about the toxicity of pea-pollution.  |
