I'm not one to criticise players (and coaches) when we lose, if anything I'll look for excuses,
but today was a classic case of a pack dominating the first 35 minutes of a game but we didn't the have half-backs to finish the game off.
I thought Miller and Rankin were both very average and went missing for long periods.
I don't buy this "young and inexperienced" argument. Surely they've been playing for long enough now to be showing some sort of form?
I don't see either of them improving any time soon to a higher standard.
We need class acts in these 2 positions - we all know the feeling when opposition players with the "X-factor" are in possession. I don't get that with Miller and Rankin.
Having said that, such players are as scarce nowadays as rocking horse , so let's hope Mr Dobson, at least, is just around the corner.
