Quote: Chris71 "To be fair to Radford and the 17 last night in particular Paea, Carvell & Ellis I don't think it was so much of a case of Huddersfield being poor in general more a case of a Hull team that came out the blocks aggressively from the start and never let up. Huddersfield just got battered and dominated and were not allowed to settle into the game.
If we can replicate last nights efforts and performance on a consistent basis we will be up there, but consistency is the key they now have to back up last night with another against Rovers and again against London.'"
I think you did well and dominated up front but Hudds were their own worst enemy in gifting the first 3 tries so early. Grix's poor carry, the shocker of a pass and head explosion trying to keep it in for the 2nd and Grix's ridiculous 'fight' with Ellis basically had the game over in the first 20 mins. I agree mentally Huddersfield look very weak. The opportunity to right wrongs quickly is all well and good but if it goes awry so early it can have the opposite effect.
Danny Brough as captain will their downfall, as good a HB as he is his mental attitude doesn't lend itself to leading by example and gives far too much opportunity for him to moan a lot.
