Well yet another season ticks by with FC guaranteed NOT to break their p*ss poor ZERO wins at Wembley.

Need to look to the future, we must ahve one of the youngest sides in SL, with lots more players coming through. Radford needs to use this season to get young players some game time, needs to stick with Crooks, Rankin, Shaul and Miller and give them a chance. Same goes for Bowden and Hadley.

For his faults, Crooks is an oustanding talent especially in attack, no point in replacing him at with horne or Whiting, Ok we might win the odd game because of it, but long term it is better playing these players and givign them time.

Saints did this last year and struggled, now they are seeing the benefits.

I disagree, finishing mid-table in SL doesn't excite me at all, and winning the cup was always our best chance of silverwear.

also with one of the largest squads in SL, we should have been able to cope with playing the extra cup fixtures.

Yeah, measured alongside your one Wembley win some 34 years ago. Don't suppose you've booked your Wembley tickets this season in anticipation of the dobbins actually getting there.

That was a young team last night and particularly so down the spine of the team.

Some fans expect miracles overnight.

And some talk as though we have the only players that make mistakes.

Mistakes happen. It's how you learn from them that matters.

We lost in ET to a decent Salford team with experience all over the pitch and who were always going to be better than last week.

Season still has a long long way to go.

It doesn't excite me either but the cups gone now so I'm now looking towards the rest of the season. I'm still hopeful that the team will find some form and make inroads into the league.

Put Ellis and Horne in our team and we win comfy last night, lacked leadership IMO.

3 wingers out would stretch any squad.

Plus all those that keep saying drop Crooks and Yeaman. Who the hell are we going to play at centre then?

We need our centres to fill in on the wing!

What other teams have or have not is largely irrelevant. You're spot on about learning from mistakes and it's OK if you do learn so that you stop making them. But this is the top level of rugby league in the northern hemisphere so you have to learn very quickly. Quicker than some are doing at the moment in my opinion.
