| I didn't comment last week because, like you, I was so, so disappointed with our performance against Widnes and just left it to you to say how we all felt. This week, I'm more than happy to have my say. First of all well done to Radders for giving Jacob his chance. What an inspired selection it turned out to be and it shows what a proper scrum half brings to the team. We need to build on Friday's performance this Thursday because logically the cup is our best chance of winning any silverware. Like you I'll be there and would hope we turn out in numbers to cheer the boys on. Thanks as ever for your efforts, they're very much appreciated by all on here as you say what we all think.

| well done great diary as always, I think its interesting these ex factor player you mention but in fairness to Leeds and Wigan they are good at producing their own, we are not my lad was playing in Yorkshire this week and one of the parents of the team we where playing said "you have fantastic amateur teams in hull we always know where in for a really hard game when your teams come here but when I look round super league over the years I rarely see any come through "
How right he was there have been some really great young players, who for one reason or another never make super league I just hope we have realised that trying to find the ex factor player is now with salary cap not possible anymore and we seemed to be putting and rightly so more energy into bringing our own through our system they will always be complimented as like Leeds and Wigan with a couple of good overseas signing but in the main we need to have local lads playing for our club believe me when I say our kids are better than most just look at the success of all of our Amateur clubs and Hull Fc with its improved academy seem to be attracting the cream in the city including the KR supporting ones
When Radders took over too many players where taking nearly half the cap space Bomber miss, managed the contract payments to a lot of players average players where signed for too much money the process although painful for some will have to be put right and some will have to go we are in a transition really but I feel with who we have in charge we are going in the right direction and will feel the benefit in a couple of years with us emerging as a real force again Up the Fc
