If your signing half backs for defence you're in trouble.

hes a poor organiser, poor kicker, he dosen't know hot to impose himself... hes just exactly how he was last season..he should be kicking on, but honestly just from the training ground he isnt.

I've seen him impose himself and organise on the pitch. He's a decent half back he needs a good 6 with him and protection in defence.

If hes not going to play pay him off.

I would play him so fans can see how he really is..but then is that good for the team? If his contribution is dire! When you watch a player running around a pitch 100 mile an hour but getting nowt done shows you they're enthusiasm is there but nothing to back it up!

I think your painting a very unfair picture of Miller tbh. If he's running around at 100 mile an hour at least his efforts there.

He gets involved and takes the line on, he's got good ability but is isolated a lot of the time. If Radford won't play him pay him off, he's gonna get the money anyway.

I'm not painting any picture bud..if he's good enough he would be playing I'm sure any coach who's team are playing with no confidence /recognised pivots would play him...but why isn't he getting a shot at it??

At a guess one of two things could be happening.

Radford believes that we've got a couple of tries in us without him and is trying to keep us better defensively.

Or

He doesn't want his wages to count on the cap and is trying to force him out of the club without paying him off.

I'd personally go with option two.

I say give Miller a chance at least, he surely cant be any worse than the halfbacks on sunday. They tried Azza at scrum half last season and it never worked then. Its not rocket science to know that he is a out and out hooker, but yet Radders insists on playing him out of position again. We have been crying out for decent halfbacks for years and it seems we never learn, we keep playing the same old dross there.
