Indeed. Backs were a disgrace to the club today.

Being nilled at home to Widnes, their away form is dire.
They are OK at home on that 'plastic stuff' but I'm amazed at this scoreline.

Did you expect widnes to win easier ?

Of our 10 wins last season, 4 were won away (Salford, Wire, Saints & Bradford) & lost 4 by 10 points or less I(including Leeds) so to say our away form is dire is a little wide of the mark. We had 3 or 4 heavy away defeats last season and that is all.

Carry on underestimating us by all means. It suits!!

Wish some of you would get your facts right about Widnes' away form. Last 4 away games were Warrington(won), Salford (won), Leeds (lost) and Hull FC( won). Can this be truly described as "dire"? Seems to me that most opposition fans are still judging Widnes on our first season back in superleague when we finished 14th and last. Success was never going to come overnight, but last year we finished 10th ( would have been 9th if Huddersfield hadn't played their "A" team at Bradford) and this season we have won 4 out of the first 5 games. This is demonstrable progress in anyone's book, but hey,you keep deluding yourselves and underestimating us, and we'll keep chalking up the wins.
