| It looks alright for what it is but I would people seriously wear it when not at the games?
I'm guessing some people would as they do with normal shirts but just no for me

| Quote: Zuider "Deary me. Clearly there are people with more money than sense - or style for that matter. Lets face it, if it didn't have the Hull badge on it, people wouldn't look at it twice, never mind wearing it in public.
I've got an idea for next year's shirt though - how about one with a ruddy great shark on it.'"
If you consider any replica shirt 'stylish' then you need help!

| Quote: Billy Batten "I used to have a good collection of old Hull shirts but sadly lost them in a move around 10 yrs ago (would love to know where they are). Did however manage to not lose all my old Liverpool shirts (thankfully), (yes I am one of those strange people who love rugby and football equally).
Worth a good bit of money now, especially some of the shirts from the 70's.
Think I have voiced on here before my belief that only youths and shapely women should wear team shirts now. Hate to see the overweight gent who believes that Radders maybe short of a prop or 2 and pick them...
Before people shoot me down, I know Pearson etc don't think the same and 7,500 sales increases profit etc etc yada yada yada...'"
If your from Hull why support the scousers? Might as well go all out and support Saints too, their more successful that their Hull counterpart as well.

May be my youthful mind playing tricks on me (I was 13 at the time) but I seem to remember he was great for us.

Nail on head. (Are you really an artist, btw?) Aboriginal culture is beautiful and mysterious, the known on earth represented in art as well the less tangible representations of the afterlife and spiritual world (Dreamtime) that exists in parallel with our physical and emotional selves.
Each 'symbol' used in Aboriginal painting means something and can really only be reproduced accurately by someone - like Sid - of that culture to produce a whole that actually means something, actually conveys a message. (Mr Worm has studied it extensively, makes and plays didgeridoos and has even sold a couple of canvasses, but his English dabbling would he regarded at best as meaningless but pretty patterns and drones, and at worst as blasphemy by true Aboriginals. He even approached Lee Jenkinson with a view to doing something like this some years ago, after Sid had just left. I am relieved to see that Lee saw the potential in this but chose to bypass the English pretender (could've been well dodgy with regards to the club's karma) and went straight to the true artist and interpreter.)
So although the artwork has to be produced by someone with true understanding of that culture and how to represent it in art, the principles can be applied to any concept or location, not just Dreamtime and the Outback. It is a great honour for Hull FC that Sid has agreed to describe our little world using the richness of his culture manifested in pictures. The fact that no Aboriginals currently play for us is irrelevant, it is our passion, geography, history and way of life he is describing, not his.
Will definitely be buying this shirt, it's an honour and a unique opportunity.

67329_1392756525.jpg Well you may throw your rock and hide your hand
Workin' in the dark against your fellow man
