If you're a fan of Real Ales and Single Malt's then you might want to try a place that's opened in Warrington on your trip over this weekend. It's called rl9 Gallonrl and is roughly 5/10 mins walk from the HJ. It's locally owned and run, and largely stocks locally brewed, hand pulled ales. You might pay a bit more than average for some of the beers, but that's only a reflection of the cost of getting them in.
Obviously up to you if you want to try the place - all i'd ask, and i'd say this to anyone is behave and treat the staff with respect.
