Shocking result and we'll no doubt here the same tired excuses and lines in the HDM before the Catalan game 'the result has made the team determined to put things right' 'we're training the house down to make things better' etc

the fact is the culture of the players is still that mediocre displays are acceptable, they get 'up' for games they want to (like Warrington in the Semi final last year) but other games they just aren't interested. You wouldn't get a top club being hammered like that today, we are a million miles away.

Exciting rugby ahead we was told. It's worse than it has been the last 6 years.

the fans have simply had enough of the promises and false dawns, I had a lot of optimism when Pearson took over...but that is definitely on the wane now. Cheap inexperienced coach, cheap 'gambles' on the signing front, pass sales dropping...it aint looking good right now!

Good to know the players and radford have shown the respect to one of hulls favourite players,by a fantastic whole hearted performance against featherstone.I know its only a friendly but what a pathetic performance against a team a division below.
As a rovers supporter all I can say is sorry to richard whiting who is my favourite fc player and deserved so much better. A total embarrassment to the club.

didnt go so cant comment on the match itself, but to me its been a very dissappointed pre season, imo we have a very big match coming up against the cats first up, i always thought gentle should have been given another year but as always will give radford my full support, i really hope we get our arris in gear for the 1st match, a win and these friendlys will be long forgotten,lose and will start to wonder, still early days and will be cheering the lads on,

Yes, and that was probably only because they raised their game against us,

however, if the performances against Bradford and Featherstone are anything to go by, it looks like it could be a long hard season for our black and white neighbours.

When you have fev fans coming on here taking the p@ss, you know things are bad, massively disappointed, especially for Whiting, doesn't look good, in what seems to be the worst pre season that I can remember, not overly panicking yet, but the signs don't look good.
