Well I was going to pay for 1 on ebay last night £480 inc postage but my Mrs popped into Asda this am on way to work & they had them in stock so bought 2 now trying to sell 1. Plus got a ps3 with loads of decent games going to need to find them a new home soon... Well after the 25th.

Xbox one is better, but people will always just buy a playstation like blind sheep. Same as people just by Apple for the sake of it.

Much better than buying Samsung for ANY reason though!!

It's always difficult to know in the early stages which console will prove to be better, but so far this time around that claim seems to be the minority. Pretty much every neutral review/discussion/podcast I've read/seen/heard has said that the PS4 appears to be the better games console. But you can talk to the XBox One (and it will occasionally understand you, too).

I'd also say the blind sheep thing seems pretty inaccurate. I've heard/seen plenty of 360 gamers moving over to Playstation for this generation, so it's not just Sony fanboyism that is seeing the PS4 outsell the XBone. Even the US has seen a bit of a shift in balance.

Xbox will come into its own in a year.

I have both consoles but the Xbox will be bigger when the interactive TV shows hit and the potential is realised. The so-called console war won't be fought on games speed only. That's the only area PS4 has a slight edge - but not in every title.

The Xbox Live service massively outstrips PSN too. Last years PSN hack was a killer blow and cost Sony millions and a lot of embarrassment.
