No problem with trialling players, win-win for the club. Either they don't prove to be good enough, so we don't play them, or they are and we do.

In the 80's and 90's when we had trialists, everyone got excited and got behind the player hoping they'd make it. Last one I remember was Paul Sterling - who was immense for us. It's typical of the general attitude of this forum at the moment that it's now yet another sign of "Radford and his rag tag bunch".
