| Incredible thread. It must be dull in Hull at the moment. Could it be that as shirts sales are going well the marketing department have turned round to AP and said Adam we are selling loads of shirts at the moment and we are about to release the away shirt, well in advance of many of our competitors BUT... we are missing out on loads of tenners as people don't know what number to stick on the back. AP response was to get Radders to give everyone a number regardless of his plans is February so that the tills get the additional tenners. Cash is king especially in an off season. Just a thought.
As for Horne and 6 he is and always will be a legend of the club. He has played 6 for most of his career with the occassional position switch to suit the team. His testimonial shirt is proof of that. He is not the answer any more to our hb problems for the simple reason he can only play 50% of games due to the ever increasing number of injuries he gets. I just hope hes around for the crucial games next season. A fully fit Horne at Wembley this year may just have been the calming influenece that we lacked.
I am sure he will accept that his best days are behind him, but equally he is younger than Briers and I don't see many Wire fans celebrating the demise of their pivot. He can and will do a great job for us next season, as he has always done. He will also offer as much support as he possibly can to the new 6 when he arrives as thats the kind of pro he is.

I did say maybe, that's how I'd go if I was them but you never know they may look at replacing him.

| Bradford seem in a mess. Surely gale or Sammutt would be as good a bet as a young unknown kid from Oz?
Worth a bid?
Gale for me would be unlike matt Smith signing for Wigan. Not a world beater but effective and improving at a better team

| IMO horne is way past his best BUT theres is a drastic shortage of quality half backs available to us.... unfortunatly, horne seems the best of a bad bunch... and looks a certainty for the 6 jumper if we cannot find a better replacement

| Horne isn't the answer but he is still a very good player. Ultimately if we don't sign a decent 6 we will pay for it. Horne won't be able to play each week, I hope he can but doubt it. Also Heremaia is decent cover but again isn't the answer.
Right now we have no kicking game at the club which is my biggest worry.
